When Clearstory adds new capabilities to the Procore integration — such as Project Import — the Clearstory app in Procore sometimes needs additional permissions to support them. If you installed the Clearstory app before those capabilities existed, you'll need to update the app in Procore to approve the new permissions. This article covers how to do that.
Update the Clearstory app in Procore
- Log in to your Procore account as a company administrator.
- Open the Procore Marketplace.
- Search for Clearstory.
- Open the app and review the requested permissions. Procore will highlight any new permissions that have not yet been approved.
- Approve the updated permission set to grant Clearstory the new access.
Where the red square is below, there will be a button to either install or update the Clearstory app. If it says "Installed" like below, then you are already on the most up-to-date version of the app.
