This article will show you step by step what your Specialty Contractor experiences when they are invited to a project in Clearstory and need to create a account.
1. The first step is adding a contract to your project, and entering the email address of your Specialty Contractor. This is what generates the email invitation to your Specialty Contractor.
2. The email invitation will prompt them to create an account if they do not have one yet.
3. After clicking "Join Project" in the email invitation, the Specialty Contractor will be prompted to create their credentials, and will then be asked to verify their email address.
4. After verifying their email address they will be asked for a few pieces of information to finalize their company's account.
5. Now that the account is created, Clearstory welcomes them to the tool and provides a few instructional prompts to help them get started.
6. There will be a notification waiting for them in the new account inviting them to your project.
7. After clicking on "Projects" and accepting the invite they will be able to tailor their own project settings and get started! This step is important as they need to accept the project invite you sent them instead of creating their own project
8. After creating an account and accepting the project invitation your Specialty Contractors will be able to upload Change Order Requests and submit them to you for your review and approval.
9. After selecting "Upload a Change Order Request", your Specialty Contractor will fill out a few pieces of information, attach the COR file, and hit send. This submits the COR to you for review and approval, and updates the COR log.
