PlanGrid Integration Overview
The PlanGrid integration allows you to connect PlanGrid with Clearstory so you can link PlanGrid Tasks and attach PlanGrid Images and Snapshots to T&M Tags.
With the integration, you can:
- Link one or multiple PlanGrid Tasks to a T&M Tag
- Pull PlanGrid Task information into a T&M Tag
- Attach PlanGrid Images and Snapshots
- View linked PlanGrid Tasks from the T&M Log
- Update, remove, or open linked PlanGrid Tasks from an existing T&M Tag

Set up the PlanGrid integration
Before using PlanGrid on a project, the integration must first be enabled for the appropriate Clearstory offices.
- Select Integrations from the left-hand navigation.
- Search for PlanGrid, then select Manage Integration.
- Select Enable PlanGrid Integration.
- Under Enabled Offices, select the Clearstory offices that should have access to the PlanGrid integration and click Create Configuration.
If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate your PlanGrid account.
Map a Clearstory project to PlanGrid
After the integration has been enabled, map the Clearstory project to the corresponding PlanGrid project.
- Select Projects from the left-hand navigation.
- Open the Clearstory project you want to connect.
- Under Advanced Settings, select PlanGrid.
- Under Project Mapping, select the corresponding PlanGrid project.
- Select Save.
Once saved, the Clearstory project is connected to the selected PlanGrid project.
Link PlanGrid Tasks to a T&M Tag
You can link one or multiple PlanGrid Tasks while creating a T&M Tag.
- Begin creating a new T&M Tag.
- Select the Clearstory project that is mapped to PlanGrid.
- On Step 1 of the T&M Tag, locate PlanGrid Tasks and select + ADD.
- Select the checkbox next to each PlanGrid Task you want to link. You can select more than one Task. When ready tap ADD.
The selected PlanGrid Tasks will now appear on the T&M Tag.
Information from the selected Tasks can also be used to populate the T&M Tag Title and Description of Work. Review the information and make any necessary changes before continuing.
Add PlanGrid Images or Snapshots on the mobile app
PlanGrid Images and Snapshots can be added from the Photos & Documents section of the T&M Tag.
- Under Photos & Documents, select the + button.
- Under Cloud Options, select either PlanGrid Images or PlanGrid Snapshots.
- Select the images or snapshots you want to attach. A green checkmark will appear on each selected item.
- Select DONE.
The selected files will appear under Photos & Documents on the T&M Tag. 
T&M Tags support up to 50 attachments. Attachments must be JPEG, PNG, or PDF files.
Preview the T&M Tag
Continue through the remaining steps of the T&M Tag.
Before collecting signatures, select Preview to confirm that the T&M Tag information and attachments appear as expected. 
Once everything looks correct, continue with the normal signature and submission process.
View PlanGrid Tasks from the T&M Log (login via browser)
You can display linked PlanGrid Tasks as a column in the desktop T&M Log.
- Open the T&M Log.
- Select Manage Log.
- Open Column Visibility.
- Enable PlanGrid.
The PlanGrid column will display the number of Tasks linked to each T&M Tag. 
- Select the Task count in the PlanGrid column to view the Tasks linked to that T&M Tag.
Select a Task to open it in PlanGrid.
Manage PlanGrid Tasks on an existing T&M Tag
You can also manage linked PlanGrid Tasks from an existing T&M Tag.
- Open the T&M Tag you want to update.
- Locate the PlanGrid Tasks section.
From this section, you can:
- Select Add Task to link another PlanGrid Task
- Select Update to update linked Task information
- Select the refresh icon to update an individual Task
- Select the trash icon to remove a linked Task
- Select the external link icon to open the Task in PlanGrid
This allows you to manage the PlanGrid Tasks associated with the T&M Tag directly from Clearstory.
