May 2026 Release

Here is an overview of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to the Clearstory platform for the month of May.

🚀 New Features

  • Link Customer Invited Projects — When a downstream contractor invites you to a project that already exists in Clearstory, you can now link that invited project to a contract you have set up for them. This keeps your project data consolidated without creating duplicates across your account.

  • Plexxis Integration (Beta)
    For teams running Clearstory alongside Plexxis, this release ends the manual data handoff between systems. The Plexxis integration enables direct syncing of CORs and project data between the two platforms. If your team uses Plexxis, contact your CS rep to join the Beta program.
  • COR Creation Agent (Beta)
    Build CORs through a chat interface powered by Clearstory’s AI Agent. Review suggested updates and choose which changes to apply before saving. The COR Pricing Agent will be offered to a limited group of customers to gather feedback and improve the experience. Contact your CS rep to join the Beta program.

✨ Enhancements

  • Allowance Overdraft — You can now draw against an allowance even after the remaining balance reaches zero. When an allowance is overdrawn, the overdraft amount is visible on the COR edit page, the COR detail page, and the Allowances log.

  • Allowance Credits — You can now submit an credit to an allowance to increase its total available value.

  • Days Aging Report: Clickable Drilldown — COR count cells in each aging bucket are now clickable on both the company-level and contractor insights reports. Clicking a cell opens a drilldown dialog showing the individual CORs within that bucket, scoped to the relevant project or contract.
  • Contract Insights: Select All — The Contract Snapshot sub-report now supports a Select All option in the contract filter, matching the behavior of the other Contract Insights sub-reports. The table includes contractor and contract name columns for easier identification.
  • File Picker Update — The updated Clearstory file picker is now available to all customers. The file picker provides a consistent experience for connecting and selecting files across your integrated cloud storage and project management platforms.
  • Refreshed Interface Pages —The following pages have been updated with a modernized interface as part of Clearstory's ongoing Host-UI update:
    • Manage Users
    • Manage Labels
    • Offices (Office List, Office Details, Office Settings, and Office Teams)
    • Advanced Settings (AI Settings, Role Permissions, Divisions, T&M Settings, Security Settings, Contract Settings, and Domain Management)
    • Project Settings (AI Settings, Divisions, T&M Settings, and Contract Settings)
    • Project Users and Permissions (My Company, My Customers, and My Contractors)
  • API Improvements — The Clearstory API has been updated with the following additions:
    • You can now create draft Change Order Requests via the API.
    • COR detail data is now retrievable via the API.
    • Several new query parameters and datapoints have been added.
    • Reason Category and Reason Category Group have been added, so users can align Clearstory Reason Categories with their own BI dashboards.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Ball-in-Court Report — Resolved an issue where the Ball-in-Court report had stopped reflecting updates after May 18. The report is now updating as expected.
