Here is an overview of enhancements and bug fixes to the Clearstory platform for the month of August
August Highlights
-
We’ve added a new report to Contractor Insights. The T&M Labor Hour Report provides a summarized view of all the Labor Hours received from contractors on a given project.
-
Users can now view the activity feed for both sent and received T&M tags directly on the mobile app.
-
Added the ability for users to choose between the default HCSS Labor description or project-specific descriptions when internal IDs are used. This feature reduces maintenance efforts around project rates and allows users to select the preferred description at the office level.
2024 08.30 Update
Bug Fixes 🐛
- Fixed an issue where the Vista column in the COR Log was incorrectly updated to "Unassigned" when trade partners made revisions to a COR after it was pushed to Vista. The status now correctly maintains its value.
- Resolved an issue where forward slashes in tag titles caused the creation of unintended folders during bulk PDF downloads. The naming convention has been adjusted to prevent this, ensuring smooth downloads without OS file path errors.
- Implemented validation to prevent users from adding duplicate labels at both the COR and company levels, ensuring label uniqueness and data consistency.
- Adjusted the search placeholder text in the CMIC flow to "Search by Description" to align with the actual search functionality, enhancing usability and reducing user confusion.

Enhancements ✨
- We’ve added a new report to Contractor Insights. The T&M Labor Hour Report provides a summarized view of all the Labor Hours received from contractors on a given project. The dates in the report are displayed in dd/mm/yyyy format. We will update this to mm/dd/yyyy in a future update.
Bug Fixes 🐛
- Updated error messages displayed when accepting or rejecting project invites on mobile, ensuring that the correct message is shown if an error occurs.
- Fixed a crash in the mobile app when resending a COR if the distribution list included a user with no name.
2024 08.16 Update
Bug Fixes 🐛
- Fixed an issue where the sort order of the received Change Notification log was incorrect when sorting by response status. A minor issue remains with numeric sorting of COR Numbers, which will be addressed in a future update.
- Fixed an issue where the Customer Reference Number column was incorrectly labeled as “Customer C O Number” when exporting the T&M Log to CSV.
- Fixed an issue where the app would become unresponsive after attempting to delete a contract from a Change Notification when the contract had already been removed from the project.
2024 08.12 Update
Enhancements ✨
- Added the ability for users to choose between the default HCSS Labor description or project-specific descriptions when internal IDs are used. This feature reduces maintenance efforts around project rates and allows users to select the preferred description at the office level.
- Updated the permissions behavior for the Analytics Dashboard. Users can now only view a project’s analytics data based on their access to the T&M Log or COR Log. This change provides a more secure and tailored data view for each user.
- Appended "(Clearstory)" identifier to email messages sent by Clearstory. This helps better distinguish Clearstory emails from malicious impersonation emails.
Bug Fixes 🐛
- Fixed an issue where exporting tags from the received side in the T&M log showed the customer column instead of the contractor column.
- Corrected a z-index issue where the 'Remove All' button appeared above the warning dialog when exiting the Upload COR form.
- Removed access to Customer Insights for Field Users, ensuring that only appropriate roles can view this data.

- Users can now view the activity feed for both sent and received T&M tags directly on the mobile app.
