April 2026 Release
Here is an overview of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to the Clearstory platform for the month of April.
🚀 New Features
-
COR Log Overview Report — A new company-wide report giving project managers and executives a bird's-eye view of COR status across every project. Two views — Contract Summary and Status Summary — let you quickly assess exposure by financials or by COR status. Drill into any project on the received side for per-contract detail.
-
COR LMEO Consolidation — Consolidate rows within each Labor, Materials, Equipment, and Others table on a COR using the new "Consolidate" button. Rows with matching criteria are merged into a single line with summed quantities, reducing clutter on T&M tag-heavy change orders.
-
COR Savings Insights — Revision Summary Tab — A new Summary tab on the COR Savings Insight report shows the full COR lifecycle, including voided, rejected, and revised CORs. Includes topline summary cards, contractor-level breakdowns, and clickthrough links to filtered views.
-
AI COR Reason Categories — Clearstory can now automatically categorize your sent and received CORs by reason. Turn the feature on or off per account and customize your own reason categories.
-
Link Customer Contracts — Associate contracts at the customer level for better tracking and organization.
✨ Enhancements
-
Logo Editor — Upload, crop, and position your company logo directly within Clearstory.
-
File Picker Rebuild — We're replacing our file picker integration starting with Procore. Other integrations will show an "Under Construction" notice while we roll out support in upcoming releases.
-
Admin Page Refreshes — The Manage Customer, Manage Users, and Manage Labels pages have been updated with a modernized interface.
- Allowance First Touch Improvements - Previously when a user first navigated to the allowance log they were required to create an allowance to access the log. Now a user can close out the initial pop up modal and navigate the allowance log without creating an allowance.
🐛 Bug Fixes
-
Bulk PDF Download Now Includes Draft Tags — Previously, draft T&M tags were excluded from bulk PDF downloads unless individually previewed first. Bulk downloads now include all tags regardless of status.
- Allowance Bulk Import Bugs - Resolved several issues in the bulk allowance import flow, including erroneous import failures on valid CSV files, inconsistent contract mapping, and the bulk edit option not always being visible. Also improved usability by retaining scroll position after cell edits, persisting the selected project into the import tab, and updating tooltip copy to better guide users through Allowance Type and Contract field inputs.
